In 1996 Mr. Lawrence Carthan formed a
community base music program, a unique music program dedicated to teaching and
music performances. The music program has grown over the years to include
a Marching Band; we are
the home of the Elite Marching Band of Saint Albans New York. We offer musical instruction in a warm and
friendly environment. We offer group or private instruction to students of all
ages and levels, in piano, drums, guitar, bass, vocal, sax, from beginner to
advance, and our very own marching band. Our marching band consists of
highly motivated and studious young gentlemen and ladies - drum line, horns, flags, drum majors, cymbals and dancers.
We introduce students from early childhood to adults, the
joy and discipline of music. We provide a rich environment that supports each
student’s musical participation, while developing a solid foundation for the
young musician aspiring for a professional career, college or just enjoy playing
music.
We offer instruction and performance for the amateur,
aspiring musician. We provide diverse opportunities for the highest quality
instruction, performance and enjoyment of music, regardless of an individual’s
ability. We want to enhance the community quality of life through the
appreciation, enjoyment and study of music; this will present the opportunities
for life long musical experiences.
Our goal is to serve as a foundation for the highest
quality instruction and performance opportunities. We will promote the
relationship between music, theory and practice, to further the development of
each student as an outstanding young adult within his/her overall maturity
process through the musical and movement of the arts.
